The BORSEHUNG B10005 is a front-axle bump stop (rebound buffer) that protects the strut piston rod against hard bottoming. It replaces OE references 1K0412303B, 1KD412303 and 3C0412303A on a wide range of Volkswagen Group vehicles. Fitted to the front strut, the buffer absorbs end-of-travel impacts and reduces metallic knocking on rough roads.
