The INA 420006110 is a hydraulic valve lifter (also called a tappet or lash adjuster) that automatically maintains zero clearance in the valvetrain. Using engine oil pressure, it compensates for thermal expansion and component wear, removing the need for manual valve adjustment and keeping the engine running quietly throughout its service life. The unit measures 35 mm in diameter and 26 mm in height.
